72nd National Film Awards: Anant Nag gets standing ovation

Veteran actor Anant Nag received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2024 at the 72nd National Film Awards and earned a standing ovation. Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw praised his more than five-decade contribution to cinema, saying, “You have rendered great service to the film industry.” From Naa Ninna Bidalaare and Mungaru Male to K.G.F, Anant Nag’s celebrated filmography spans several generations of Kannada cinema.
