After Calcutta HC order, Congress’s Nandigram nominee to be out on bail for bypoll

Calcutta High Court granted interim bail to Congress candidate Milan Pradhan until October 20. His arrest occurred after he filed his nomination for the bypoll scheduled on October 6. The court noted police had opportunities to arrest Pradhan prior to his nomination but delayed action. Pradhan is required to report to the police and will surrender on October 21.
