KGMU nursing officer abducted for Rs 50 lakh ransom, killed with friend in Lucknow; 5 arrested

A nursing officer, Pawan Kumar Garg, and his friend, Sachin Vishwakarma, were allegedly murdered following a kidnapping attempt. The accused intended to extort Rs 50 lakh from Garg after mistakenly believing he had recently acquired substantial funds. After failing to secure the ransom, the kidnappers reportedly strangled both men and disposed of their bodies in the Gha
