Marriage plans in doubt, Hyderabad cop ends life after video call with fiancee

A 35-year-old police constable died by suicide late Sunday evening. He was attached to the Armed Reserve of Malkajgiri commissionerate. The constable reportedly called his fiancée before taking the extreme step. Police are probing the exact cause of his death. He was under distress after learning his marriage might not happen.
