Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani addressed National Cadet Corps members, emphasizing that young cadets must play an active role in protecting the unity and integrity of the nation. Speaking at a gathering of young leaders, the senior officer highlighted the responsibility placed on youth to preserve social cohesion across diverse regions. His address urged cadets to uphold discipline, selflessness, and national service as core values in their daily lives, guiding their future contributions to society and national defence.
The address took place during a ten-day national integration camp held at Gandigunta in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Around 300 cadets representing 16 different directorates from across India came together to participate in training routines, cultural exchanges, and leadership exercises. Such national camps aim to bridge regional differences by allowing young citizens from various cultural backgrounds to interact, train together, and build lasting bonds of mutual respect and national unity while representing their respective home states.
For citizens across India, programs like the national integration camp serve as vital instruments for building social solidarity among the country's youth. The National Cadet Corps remains one of the primary organizations promoting youth leadership and national service across state borders.
