Police couple away on duty, thief strikes Navi Mumbai home; gold, cash stolen

An unidentified thief broke into a police constable's apartment in Agroli village. The burglary occurred while the constable and his wife were away on duty. The suspect stole gold jewellery and cash valued at approximately Rs 3.5 lakh. The thief reportedly forced open the main and inner doors to access the bedroom. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrator.
