Priyadarshan to stick to comedy: Director drops serious films with Akshay

Following 'Haiwaan's box office failure, earning just Rs 9.92 crore net, director Priyadarshan has ruled out serious films with Akshay Kumar, stating audiences prefer them in comedy. He cited past underperformer Khatta Meetha too. Meanwhile, their comedy collaborations like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and this year's Bhooth Bangla remain major hits.
