Tremor hits Maharashtra's Palghar near Gujarat-Dadra and Nagar Haveli border

An earthquake measuring 3.7 in magnitude struck Palghar district at 7.16 pm on Thursday evening. The epicenter of the tremor was located in the Kurze area of Talasari taluka. Tremors were felt in parts of Talasari, including nearby Vikramgad, although no damage or casualties were reported. Previous tremors have led to calls for a scientific study on seismic activity in the region.
