Westlife star Mark Feehily sues surgeon over weight-loss surgery complications

Westlife star Mark Feehily is suing bariatric surgeon Nick Carter in a £200,000 claim over complications following weight-loss surgery. Feehily alleges the procedure led to recurring sepsis and eventually required his entire stomach to be removed. Carter denies negligence and argues that the leak was a recognised complication of the procedure.
