Experts discuss entrepreneurship, technology development on first day of JNTUA Innovators Conclave
Over 3,000 students, 300 startups and 80 industry leaders gathered at the JNTUA Innovators Conclave to discuss entrepreneurship and technology development. The event provided workshops, mentorship and networking aimed at turning campus ideas into market‑ready businesses.

The first day of the JNTUA Innovators Conclave opened on the university campus, drawing more than 3,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from engineering, science and management streams. The gathering also featured representatives from over 300 startups that have emerged from incubators across the country, as well as more than 80 senior executives from established technology firms. Organisers described the event as a platform where young innovators can showcase prototypes, receive feedback and explore partnership opportunities with industry mentors.
Sessions on entrepreneurship and technology development were led by academics, venture capitalists and founders who shared practical advice on product validation, funding pathways and scaling strategies. Workshops covered topics such as rapid prototyping, digital marketing, and intellectual property protection, aiming to equip participants with tools that go beyond classroom theory. The presence of a large startup community allowed students to observe real‑world business models and understand the challenges of turning a campus project into a marketable solution.
The conclave is expected to generate a pipeline of start‑ups that can attract seed investment and create employment in the region. University officials said the event aligns with national goals to increase the number of technology‑driven enterprises and reduce reliance on traditional industries. By linking more than three thousand aspiring entrepreneurs with seasoned leaders, the organizers hope to nurture a culture of innovation that can contribute to economic growth and improve the skill set of the future workforce.
